Yesterday, SRA International, Inc. announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire MorganFranklin?s National Security Solutions business, a privately held consulting firm headquartered in the D.C. area.

With the acquisition, SRA will obtain around 180 new employees with command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) expertise and capabilities, continuity of operations (COOP) expertise. The agreement includes current SRA customers, as well as strategically-valuable contract vehicles.

The transition is expected to be complete by the end of the month. The majority of MorganFranklin employees work on client sites. Most MorganFranklin staff is located in the Greater Washington, D.C. area and Tampa, Florida.
